Rescue Collective Projects

Check out some of the past and present projects that your donations help to support – THANK YOU!

The Fodder Farm

Located at the DRU Sanctuary, in Burbank Brisbane, and in conjunction with Queensland Koala Society is the home of our very first eucalyptus Fodder Farm/Native Plantation.

With over 420 trees exclusively to feed the local wildlife in rehabilitation, The Fodder Farm is one of our legacy projects: something for now and the future.

Watch this space for our next fodder farm project date and location. You’ll be able to donate (and even plant) your very own tree towards the future survival of wildlife in Australia.

Emergency ICUs

In the past 2+years we have gifted to carers, sanctuaries and wildlife hospitals over 100 Intensive Care Units.

One of our most favourite items to supply, these devices are so often the difference between life and death – especially in the remote areas of Australia and in environmental disasters such as the 2019/20 fires.

Know someone that works in the health world and might know where to get discounted or expired medical equipment?

Animal sanctuaries, vets, carers and the like are in desperate need of any items that relate to fluids, IV or intensive care. Share with us their details here

Fire Trailers

The 2019/2020 droughts and fires demonstrated the desperate need for water- not only to give to animals, but to use in the assistance of protection of properties, enclosures and the like in the times of fire, heat stress events and extreme drought.

Cue these emergency water trailers. Portable and fitted with hose, pump and the functional road requirements needed to quickly disperse water at a high rate.

A number of these trailers are situated in locations across Queensland ready to deploy in an emergency. Help supply more properties more fire trailers here;

Foliagenators

2022 brought the first of our fleet of Foliagenators – solar powered refrigerator machines that utilise several forms of filtration to purify, hydrate, preserve and store cut foliage for animal consumption – for up to two weeks! In conjunction with Nicko, the master mind behind the machines, we ‘ve rolled out 5 of these already across Queensland with hopes of another fleet mid-year. To contribute to the next build of these game changers, contact us here.

Kevlar Rescue Poles

From birds to bats, and especially for koalas, specialist poles and nets are needed to ensure fast, efficient, and safe rescue.

Chefs need knives, rescuers need poles. These essential items range in price from $200- $5000.

Donate a Pole entirely and we will have it engraved with your name and the message of your choice to the rescue of your choice.
